How I got here

There was a point where I was doing everything and nothing well. I was a working mum of two, supposed to be part time, but the job had other ideas. Messages at 10pm, emails on days off. The kind of creep that happens so gradually you don't notice until you're sitting at dinner physically present but completely somewhere else.

Family stuff was happening in the background. Big stuff. I was trying to hold work, motherhood, marriage, and friendship all at once and never feeling like I was doing any of it well. So I made a decision that scared me and freed me in equal measure. I stopped.

I took 12 months to just be present. We packed up and moved back to Melbourne. New house, new schools, sold one, built something new somewhere familiar. And somewhere in the middle of all of it I started properly learning AI and automation. Not because it was trending, but because I genuinely wanted to understand what was actually possible for small businesses.

I started building systems that fit how we actually lived. And I noticed something I hadn't expected. When the right system is in place, one that actually fits how you think and how you work, life gets quieter. It just reduces that lingering feeling that things are falling through the cracks.

I'd spent 15 years in corporate operations, building things that helped businesses see clearly and move efficiently. But it took stepping back as a working mum to understand what systems are actually for. They're not about productivity. They're about getting your life back.

That's why I started Simple Solutions Studio. The goal was never a perfect system. The goal was always a life that feels like yours again.

What I bring to this work

My background is in corporate operations and executive support. I spent 15 years at organisations like JBWere and Vanguard building systems that helped businesses see clearly and move efficiently. I was recognised as a NAB top 1% performer and spent five years as the operational right hand to a senior executive, which meant understanding how businesses actually function at every level, not just the parts that look tidy from the outside.

Since then I've spent years learning AI, automation, and no-code tools properly. I've built custom AI workflows, multi-platform automation systems, and operational foundations for businesses that needed to stop depending entirely on their founder. I work Monday to Wednesday. I built this business around my life first, which is exactly the principle I bring to every client engagement.

I know what it feels like to be the founder who is also the admin, the operator, the decision-maker, and the one who holds everything in her head. I know what it costs. And I know what's possible when you finally build something that works with how you think instead of against it.

What I believe

The principles behind every engagement.
01

Starting messy is normal. Staying messy too long becomes costly.

02

Systems should fit the founder, not the other way around.

03

Automation does not fix a messy foundation.

04

AI is a tool, not a strategy.

05

Growth should feel calm, not chaotic.

06

A business that depends fully on the founder is hard to scale and hard to love long term.

How I work with clients

What makes the work stick when previous attempts haven't.
Research first.

I understand how you work before I build anything. Every process, workflow, and automation is designed around how you specifically think and operate. This is what makes the systems stick.

Implementation, not advice.

I build the systems with you, not just advise on what to build. You get working systems, not a to-do list.

Founder aligned.

Every system is tailored to how you actually think and work. Not a template. Not someone else's framework retrofitted to your business.

You own everything.

Full documentation and a proper handover means you can maintain your systems without me. I'm not building dependency. I'm removing it.

Ready to stop being the only one your business can run through?

The Systems Health Check is the best place to start. It gives you a clear picture of what's actually broken, what it's costing you, and exactly what to fix first, without any obligation to go further.
